The Admin workspace is where the school prepares and runs assessments. Students use their assigned account to take available exams, review released results, track performance and participate in the XP, rewards and leaderboard experience.

Set up your first assessment

  1. Register your school. Create the school account, verify the administrator email and use the School ID and administrator credentials to sign in.
  2. Add students. Create student records and assign the class, section and academic details needed for your school.
  3. Build your Question Bank. Add questions manually or use the AI Question Generator, then review saved questions before use.
  4. Create and publish an exam. Configure the exam, attach questions, review the settings and publish it when it is ready for students.
  5. Review outcomes. Monitor active sessions when available, review results and release them to students when appropriate.
Before you begin: a student needs an assigned account and an exam must be available to that student’s class or section before it can appear in My exams.

Use the Admin Dashboard as your control centre

The Admin Dashboard provides a school-level snapshot of students, active exams, Question Bank totals and assessment activity. Use its quick actions to move directly into creating an exam, adding students, managing questions or opening reports.

It also brings important assessment activity into one focused starting point for the school team.

Create and maintain student access

Open Students from the Admin navigation to add, find and maintain student records. The student list shows the student name, username, class, section, roll number, XP and current status.

  • Use Add student to create a student account and provide the relevant profile information.
  • Set class and section details so the student is included in the right academic group.
  • Use search and class filters to find a record quickly.
  • Edit student details when records change, or remove a student when the account should no longer be available.
  • Review the school roster and academic placement before adding more students.

Organise learning content and progression

Courses give schools a structured place for video lessons, notes and mini-tests. Students can open available course content, record learning progress and continue from the work that remains.

  • Courses can contain lectures, notes and published mini-tests.
  • Learning progress is recorded for supported lesson and note activity.
  • Course progress helps identify what is complete and where a student can continue.

Support independent subject and topic practice

Practice is a student-owned activity, separate from formal examination sessions. Students can choose available subjects or topics, start a practice session and review a history of their work.

  • Practice can target a requested subject or topic.
  • When learning-gap evidence is available, the platform can select a target difficulty; available question inventory can require a fallback.
  • Completed practice contributes practice evidence and can support follow-up learning work.

Use available evidence to guide follow-up

EXERON includes student topic-mastery and study-plan support. These areas use bounded evidence to help organise practice and follow-up; they do not replace educator judgement or make autonomous academic decisions.

Build a reusable Question Bank

The Question Bank is the school’s working library of assessment questions. Create questions manually, then organise and reuse them across examinations.

  • Create questions with the available question type, options or answer content, marks and difficulty settings.
  • Organise questions around the relevant class, subject and topic.
  • Use search and the available class, subject, difficulty and type filters to narrow the list.
  • Review, edit or remove questions before attaching them to an exam.

Generate questions, then review them

AI Question Generator helps an Admin prepare a question set from a defined curriculum context. Select the class, subject and—when required—the topic, then choose the generation settings that fit the assessment.

Available controls

  • Generation mode: Normal, Passage Based, Case Study or Uploaded Image
  • Question types: Multiple Choice, Multi-Select, True / False and Fill Blank
  • Question count, difficulty and generation quality
  • English, Hindi or Bilingual output
  • Additional instructions for learning objectives or constraints

Review before use

Generated questions appear in a review area where they can be edited, regenerated, deleted or saved. For Passage Based and Uploaded Image modes, follow the extra controls shown by the page. Always review AI-generated content for accuracy, suitability and alignment with your school’s requirements before saving or using it in an exam.

Create, configure and manage examinations

Select Create exam from the Dashboard or the Exams page. Start with the title, description, exam type, class and subject. Save the draft, then open the exam to attach and arrange Question Bank items.

  1. Configure the schedule. Set start and end times when the exam should open and close. Leave them empty to keep the exam as a draft until you publish it.
  2. Set the assessment rules. Choose duration, passing criteria, result-release timing, question and option shuffling, negative marking and reattempt settings where required.
  3. Attach questions. Use the exam’s Question Bank area to add, order or remove questions. Total marks are calculated from the attached questions.
  4. Publish and manage. Exams move through statuses such as Draft, Published, Active and Completed. Use the exam detail page to review results, analytics and the available result-release action after completion.

What students do when taking an exam

Students sign in with the credentials assigned by their school, then open My exams. Available assessments are grouped by their current state, including live, upcoming, completed and missed.

Student examination flow

Student Login → Dashboard → My exams → Start exam → Confirmation → Fullscreen → Countdown and Exam Room → Answer questions → Autosave → Submit → Result when released

  • Before the timer starts, students see a confirmation dialog with fullscreen instructions.
  • Fullscreen is required for the active exam. The exam room focuses on the questions, timer, navigation and submission controls.
  • Students can move between questions, save and continue, clear a response or mark a question for review.
  • Responses are autosaved during the session. Students submit the exam when ready, or the session may be submitted by the configured exam controls.
  • Students can open a result only after it is available. Otherwise, they see Result pending.

Review monitoring as operational context

Live Monitoring helps an Admin see active exam-session activity and review submitted-session history. It records operational signals associated with the exam session, including tab or focus changes, fullscreen exits, copy or paste attempts, developer-tools signals, IP address, user agent and screen resolution.

Use signals carefully. Monitoring information is an operational indicator for the school. It is not, by itself, conclusive proof of academic misconduct. EXERON does not use webcam, microphone, audio, video or geolocation monitoring in the current product.

Generate, review and release results

After an exam is submitted and completed, the Admin can review its results from the exam detail page. The available release setting determines when students can view an outcome: immediately after submission, when the exam window ends, or through manual release.

  • Use the Results tab to review student submissions, scores, pass status and the available result actions.
  • When an exam is completed, use Release results when manual release is required.
  • Students see a result only after it has been released; until then, their exam card shows Result pending.
  • Exam-level analytics remain available from the same exam workspace for a closer review of performance.

Turn assessment data into next steps

The Admin Analytics workspace brings together school, class and exam performance. Use its available filters and sections to move from a high-level snapshot to the detail that needs attention.

  • Review participation, average scores, pass rates and assessment activity.
  • Compare subject, topic, question-type and difficulty performance where data is available.
  • Use class and examination views to understand outcomes for a specific academic group or assessment.
  • Review academic insights, smart alerts and improvement opportunities when they are available in the selected view.

Use AI Insights as evidence-aware assistance

AI Insights is available to school administrators and uses available, current tenant-scoped performance context for the specific request. It can provide observations and suggested next steps for educator review.

Important limitation: AI Insights does not have unrestricted access to all school information, does not provide predictive intervention and does not make autonomous decisions.

Use EXERON Tutor for context-aware learning support

EXERON Tutor is a student learning assistant. Depending on the question, it can use available course, practice and released-performance context, along with limited conversation history, to provide a grounded explanation or next step.

It supports student learning; it does not replace teachers or claim access to a complete academic history.

Help students understand their progress

Students can open My analytics to view a focused picture of performance and progress. The page may show overall performance, weekly performance, subject performance, topic insights and recent results after the student has completed assessments.

Students can also revisit released individual results from My exams. Their profile provides the school and account information available to them.

XP, rewards and the leaderboard

EXERON includes an XP-based student engagement experience. Students can see their XP balance and participation history, browse rewards made available by their school and submit a reward claim when they have enough XP.

  • The Rewards Store shows the rewards currently available to the student and the XP needed to claim each one.
  • After a claim, My Rewards shows its progress from claimed to ready for collection and collected.
  • The Leaderboard lets students view the current ranking experience. A student can be excluded from public leaderboard display through the available account setting.
  • Admins manage reward claims and advance them through the available collection statuses.

Start with the checks that matter

Unable to sign in

Confirm the School ID and assigned username or administrator email, then check the password. Administrators can use the password-recovery flow; students should contact their school if they need account help.

An exam is not visible

Check that the student is in the correct class or section, that the exam has been published and that its availability window has started. Upcoming and completed exams are shown separately from live exams.

Fullscreen was exited

Return to fullscreen when prompted. Focus changes and fullscreen exits can be recorded by the exam’s monitoring controls, and configured limits may affect the session.

A result is pending

The result may still be awaiting completion, the end of the exam window or manual release by the Admin. Students should check again after the school has completed its review.
