1. Acceptance and scope
By registering for, accessing or using EXERON, the School and each User agree to these Terms. If you use EXERON on behalf of a School or other organisation, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation.
EXERON provides learning, practice, assessment, question-bank, performance, account-management, monitoring, rewards and AI-assisted educational platform features. Available features may depend on the School’s plan and configuration.
2. School accounts
A School must provide accurate registration and account information and keep its administrator details current. The School is responsible for all activity conducted through its account and for administering access to its users.
3. Administrators, staff and students
Administrators are responsible for creating and managing student and staff access, assigning appropriate roles, and protecting administrator credentials. Teachers and staff may use EXERON only within permissions granted by the School.
Student accounts are created and managed by the School. Students must use assigned credentials only, maintain their confidentiality and follow the School’s examination and acceptable-use requirements.
4. Account security
Users must not share credentials, attempt to access another person’s account, bypass authentication or interfere with platform security. Schools must promptly notify EXERON at contact@exeron.app if they reasonably suspect unauthorised access to their account.
5. Acceptable educational use
EXERON may be used only for legitimate educational, administrative, learning, practice and assessment purposes. Schools and Users must comply with applicable requirements that govern their own use of the service and must not use EXERON in a manner that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive or infringes another person’s rights.
6. Prohibited conduct
Users must not attempt to disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, overload or gain unauthorised access to EXERON; introduce malicious code; use the platform to distribute unlawful or infringing content; or interfere with another School’s, User’s or student’s use of the service.
7. Examinations and integrity
Schools are responsible for configuring examinations, determining eligibility, communicating examination rules, reviewing results and making academic decisions. Students must follow the School’s examination instructions and must not attempt to obtain or share unauthorised examination content, impersonate another user or circumvent examination controls.
8. Monitoring signals
When enabled for an examination, EXERON may record operational monitoring signals, including tab or focus changes, fullscreen exits, copy or paste attempts, developer-tools signals, IP address, user agent and screen resolution. These signals are provided to the School as operational indicators and do not alone establish academic misconduct. The School is responsible for deciding how to review or act on them.
9. Results and analytics
EXERON may calculate and display learning progress, practice activity, results, analytics, leaderboard information and related insights from information submitted to or generated through the platform. Schools are responsible for reviewing these outputs and for decisions made using them.
10. AI-generated content
AI-assisted features may generate questions, explanations, learning support, insights or image context. AI output is provided for review and may contain errors, omissions or unsuitable content. Schools and Users must review AI-generated output for accuracy, appropriateness, intellectual-property considerations and educational suitability before use. AI-assisted features do not replace educator judgement or institutional academic decisions.
11. School and User content
Schools and Users retain responsibility for content they submit to EXERON, including course and learning content, practice and assessment content, student information and uploaded materials. The School grants EXERON a limited right to host, process and display that content only as needed to provide, secure and support the service. The School represents that it has the necessary rights and authority to provide the content and information.
12. EXERON intellectual property
EXERON, including its software, visual identity, platform materials and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to EXERON and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant any ownership interest in EXERON.
13. Subscriptions and plans
Some features require a paid subscription. Plans may have seat limits, feature limits and usage allowances for areas such as assessments, courses, analytics, monitoring and AI generation. Plan availability, capabilities and limits are subject to the applicable plan configuration and may change under these Terms. White-label branding may be offered as a premium plan capability subject to availability and activation; it is not guaranteed to be available for every School.
14. Billing review and cycles
Plan selection, seat count, billing cycle and total amount are presented for review before payment. Commercial terms may be updated prospectively by EXERON.
15. Payments, upgrades and downgrades
Payments are processed through a third-party payment processing provider. A subscription or paid change is activated only after verified payment confirmation. Schools may be able to purchase seats, upgrade plans, renew manually or schedule an eligible downgrade through the available billing features.
Downgrades may be subject to active-student, seat and usage limits and may take effect at the next renewal period. The platform does not promise automatic charging, cancellation, refunds, pro-rata adjustments or refund eligibility. Any refund, if offered, is subject to the applicable commercial policy communicated by EXERON.
16. Suspension and termination
EXERON may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, address security concerns, investigate misuse, enforce these Terms, or where a subscription is inactive, expired or past due. A School may lose access to paid features if it does not maintain an active applicable subscription.
17. Service availability and changes
We aim to operate EXERON reliably, but the service may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, third-party failures, network conditions or circumstances outside our control. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, including plan capabilities, where reasonably necessary to operate or improve the service.
18. Third-party services
EXERON uses third-party services that support payment processing, email and communications, cloud infrastructure, application functionality and AI-assisted features. Their services may be subject to their own terms and policies. EXERON is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.
19. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
EXERON is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, EXERON does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or fully secure operation, or that AI-generated content, monitoring signals, analytics or results will be complete, accurate or suitable for every purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, EXERON will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, goodwill or business opportunity arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Indemnity
The School will defend and indemnify EXERON against third-party claims arising from the School’s or its Users’ content, misuse of EXERON, or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of EXERON after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
